Like millions of country fans the world over, we were saddened by the death of Merle Haggard earlier this month. We are thankful for his life and amazing talent. We were lucky enough to open for the man himself at a concert at the old Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis in 1995. It was truly a night to remember! Now that Merle has passed into eternity, we are blessed to carry on the legacy of his wonderful music. Thank you, and goodbye, Mr. Merle.
It’s our 23rd Anniversary! We are celebrating in style at the Ballentine VFW in Uptown, USA! This neighborhood drinking establishment has recently been remodeled, and they got it right! New front door with giant USA flag mural! New stage, PA and dance floor! Great drink specials, food and plenty of fun! We start at 9:00. Cover is $10. As we look back at 2015, our hearts are full of gratitude. We are grateful for the chance to play the music we love and have such a good time doing it! Along the way, we get to see our fans turn into friends, friends turn into fans, and we all become a big trashy family– we love you all! That is what it’s all about for us, making music for people we love.
Most of all, we would like to express our gratitude to Louie Sirian, the former owner of Lee’s Liquor Lounge, who gave us a place to call home. What started with a handshake deal in 1993 lasted 22 years because of the trust, love and respect we have for you. WE LOVE YOU, LOUIE!
